Green Card Course
The CIDB Green Card Course is a programme offered by the Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia (CIDB) to provide approval and recognition to employees in the construction industry. The Green Card serves as proof that the employees have undergone training and are familiar with the basics of safety, health, and work practices on construction sites.
Course Content :
- Fundamentals of safety and health in the workplace.
- Handling of hazardous materials.
- Emergency procedures.
- Safe work practices.
- Responsibilities of workers on construction sites.
Target Audience :
This course is usually recommended for employees and the workforce in the construction sector, including new workers who want to obtain a Green Card to prove their qualifications.
Course Duration :
The course usually lasts for one day and ends with a test to ensure the participants’ understanding of the content learned.
